Housed in a magnificent former Victorian power station built in 1893, the building was originally designed to generate electric light for the Great Eastern Railway. Today, after being saved from demolition by a dedicated heritage campaign, it stands as one of the area’s most iconic landmarks, meticulously restored to showcase its original brickwork and soaring proportions.

The venue offers a breathtaking sense of scale, featuring an expansive interior defined by double-height ceilings and massive original windows that flood the space with natural light. This industrial-chic aesthetic, softened by lush greenery, provides a sophisticated yet high-energy backdrop for SINTILLATE’s legendary entertainment. Guests can expect a vibrant atmosphere fueled by world-class DJs and live performers, bringing a modern party pulse to this historic setting.

The culinary experience is equally impressive, centered around a refined two-course social menu. To start, guests will share Wildfarmed Flatbreads accompanied by a vibrant selection of dips, including Taramasalata with Pickled Cucumber, Tzatziki with Pickled Red Onion, and Yellow Pea Hummus with Sun-dried Tomatoes and Crispy Shallots. For those looking to indulge further, the menu offers enticing bite add-ons such as Spinach and Feta Parcels, Salted Fish Fritters, and Chestnut and Onion Sausage Rolls with ‘HP’ sauce.

For the main course, diners can choose from a diverse array of premium plates. The selection ranges from a fragrant Cauliflower and Chickpea Curry and a classic Fish Finger Sarnie with fries to a succulent grilled Half Poussin with Caesar Salad. Meat lovers can opt for the Dry-Aged Beef Burger topped with Red Leicester Fondue, relish, and rocket, or the indulgent Aurox Rump Steak served with a Wild Mushroom Bordelaise Sauce.
