About On & On R’n’B Bottomless Brunch at Café KOKO

Open every Saturday from 12.00pm – 5.00pm, the On & On Bottomless Brunch (named after the Erykah Badu song, On & On) will provide a feast of must-try brunch classics and unlimited, thirst-quenching drinks set to an exuberant soundtrack of DJs playing ‘90s R&B and hip hop favourites (think TLC, Biggy, Tu Pac, Destiny’s Child, Boyz II Men and Backstreet).

The two-course set menu offers a starter, a main course and a side to satisfy a wide-range of tastes and dietary requirements. Tantalising mains include a salt beef bagel; a smoked salmon bagel; decadent stacked pancakes, the plant-based Delica squash and golden beetroot; and Sicilian baked eggs.

The menu is completed by a selection of Cafe KOKO’s increasingly renowned pizzas: the vegetarian El Classico; the creative toppings of The Hope and Anchor; and the meat-and-spice indulgence of the Downtown Jimmy Brown.

Meanwhile, visitors can choose from one of three unlimited drink options: the house Bloody Mary and classic Mimosa cocktail, or Prosecco.

About Cafe KOKO
Tucked behind the iconic KOKO music venue, Café KOKO is a lively tap bar and eatery, reminiscent of the laidback Italian trattoria culture found in New York and LA. Stunning interiors, good music and original artworks create a vibrant atmosphere, with photography featuring Grace Jones, Amy Winehouse and Anderson Paak filling the walls, alongside artwork by contemporary painters, illustrators and graffiti artists.

Guests stop by for brunch, lunch, late-night pizzas, and live music throughout the week, with a soulful menu full of Italian flavours to indulge in. Choose from sharing plates, salads, and mains, alongside wood-fired pizzas topped with winning combinations and decadent desserts. Weekend brunch delivers a dose of nostalgia with 90’s R&B every Saturday and soul infused live music every Sunday, while curated artists and DJs take to the Café’s intimate stage during the week.

It’s quickly becoming a favourite among musicians and creatives; it’s where Stormzy held his birthday party; Nicki Minaj stopped traffic for her meet and greet, TEMS held an impromptu performance, and artists hang out ahead of theatre shows

Really good value for money! Would’ve been nice if the DJ started earlier as he came on just as we were leaving but great venue, good and drinks :)

I arrived earlier than my friend and asked if I could wait for her to arrive before having a drink. I was told that as I’d sat down our time had started! Then at the end we were told we had 5 mins left and asked for a refill to which we were told that the waiter had been told not to refill our drinks (he did eventually refill the drinks when we pointed out that we still had time left). It made for a slightly less relaxing time. The food was nice altho there could be the option of chips on the menu. The mimosas were lovely.

The service could have been more attentive although the standard table service was given there was nothing that stood out especially for the obligated service charge of £13! They were largely absent from my table considering it was my birthday. My friend didn’t want to brunch but wanted a drink. Instead of explaining that she is welcome to a drink but not a mimosa, she was indirectly told no and not politely offered something from their bar menu. She chose not to buy anything due to the lack of communication and table service. The food was nice and looked visually appetising but the mustard was way too pungent so became unedible for my partner. Nice ambience but I wanted to hear 90s rnb like advertised in the booking. There should also be more a selection of the drinks that are bottomless.
