Just had my birthday brunch here!! Well absolutely amazing service, the food was unreal and the cocktails were so lovely!! Staff behind the bar and in the kitchen where stop on and we will definitely be back !! Great place for a boozy birthday brunch π€π«Άπ½

The pub is very inviting. Warm, cosy, comfortable and clean. It always is. Decided on a bottomless brunch as it offered very good value for money if you were getting a few drinks with a meal. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and fries, my friend had a stone baked pizza. Both were delicious. The chicken was tender and had a great crunchy crumb. Basic pub fayre, but so easy to get very, very wrong. It was perfect. The stone baked pizza is always excellent. Lovely base and always cooked well. The Chef (Tom) came and asked if we were enjoying our food. How often does that happen in a pub? It was so very appreciated and we commented as such. Throughout the few hours we spent at the Star, there was a sense from the staff that they wanted to please and deliver a great service. That, they did in abundance.

Attended in a large group for festive bottomless brunch. We were served by Alex and Max who were amazing. They kept up with our large group and provided excellent service. Thanks to them both as they worked very hard!!!
