The Botanist, garden themed gastropub is located in the basement of the Trinity shopping centre
For slowing down, unwinding, being with friends and seeing what happens. Choose from Botanist Breakfast Butty, Shakshuka, Grilled Chicken, Bacon & Avocado salad and the signature Botanist House Burger and get ready to celebrate the weekend!
The rustic yet stylish interior features hanging plants, wooden shelves, and gardening tools. The bar offers beers, wines, spirits, and unique botanical cocktails.

Bottomless Brunch – £47.50pp
Our new Bottomless Brunch provides each guest with a selection of 1 brunch dish and unlimited drinks selected from the provided list of brunch drinks on the menu. With this package, there is no timing/interval for replacing drinks, it is a constant supply.

We of course welcome all service and assistance dogs.
Our gluten-free menu includes a wide variety of dishes - including classic haddock and chips, chicken schnitzel with green garlic butter... and of course plenty of our famous hanging kebabs.
All of our locations are wheelchair-user friendly, including entrances, exits and bathroom facilities. Friendly staff. Great cocktails. Recommend their Berry Colada and Rum Punch. Tastes amazing.Great interior and floral decor.Definitely recommend The Botanist and will go again.

The food was delicious. I had the burger and let me tell you it was so dirty I nearly died in a good way 😂 all my friends really enjoyed their dishes too. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming and accommodating. They even brought provisions for my friend's guide dog 🦮

I booked a table for my partner birthday. When we arrived they have a happy bday board on our table, which was great. The place is really beautiful and the cocktails are really tasty and different. Food was OK, but service could have been better.
