Ibrahim and Alson were amazing! The service was great and so were the sandwiches, scones, and desserts! This was our first time at afternoon tea and was well worth it. Perfect note to end on to wrap up our first trip to London! Thank you to the staff for making our experience top notch.

The Orchard Room afternoon tea at the Conrad Hotel was a wonderful experience. The venue was a calm setting with soft jazzy background music, made for a relaxed atmosphere. My last-minute request for vegetarian and halal options was accommodated with ease, and the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The wide scone selection was impressive, while the cakes and sweet treats paired beautifully with the tea. Service was impeccable with being attentive, well-paced, and supported by staff who were both friendly and knowledgeable in guiding us through the tea selection and menu. A truly memorable afternoon tea.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea at the James Tea Room at the Conrad, and it was truly a standout experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable, and I left feeling thoroughly looked after and uplifted. Alan and Casey were my servers, and both went above and beyond to make the afternoon feel special. Alan impressed with his exceptional knowledge of the teas on offer, guiding me through the selection with genuine enthusiasm and care. Casey brought a warm, engaging presence to the room her conversation was delightful and sincere, and it was lovely to hear she was supporting the tea room on an ad hoc basis. I truly hope she continues in this role; she was an absolute joy to interact with. The room itself is impeccable beautifully presented and thoughtfully styled, it adds to the sense of calm and luxury. The Wedgewood china is absolutely adorable and adds such a charming touch to the whole experience. The food was just as impressive the sandwiches were incredibly fresh, and my last-minute gluten-free request was handled with no fuss at all, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, this was one of the most wonderful afternoon tea experiences I’ve had. With service that felt both personal and professional, and a setting that invites you to relax and enjoy every detail, I’ll definitely be returning.

Exceptional service in a stunning setting. Every year I treat my mother to an afternoon tea in London and on finding this one quite last minute, we were both surprised and incredibly impressed. A beautifully presented and delicious array of sandwiches, gorgeous cakes and perfect fresh scones. The mini tea provided for my six year old daughter was fantastic too! The service and staff, John, Alan, Alison and Fransisca were all super attentive, discreet and welcoming, nothing was asked for as everything and more was thought of and provided . So pleased with this year’s choice of venue and Afternoon Tea service - bottomless Bollinger and fabulous teas - highly recommend!
